Tracy Cassels is a student, mother and founder/ author of Evolutionary Parenting (Evolutionary Parenting.com). She obtained her B.A. in cognitive science from the University of California, Berkeley and her M.A. in clinical psychology from the University of British Columbia. She is a Ph.D. candidate in developmental psychology, researching factors pertaining to empathy and affective perspective-taking in children. She is also on the board of the Canadian Health and Human Rights Partnership. She lives in Vancouver with her daughter Madeleine, stepson Desmond, and husband Brian.
