Lex Londino, M.S.N., C.N.M., began working with birthing families in 1999 as a doula and childbirth educator, went on to complete nursing and midwifery education, and owned and operated an independent home-birth midwifery service in upstate New York for more than five years. Lex has trained and worked in a variety of clinical settings. Lex holds New York nursing, midwifery, and nurse practitioner licenses, Maryland nursing and midwifery licenses, and is nationally certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Lex is currently a graduate student at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the social and behavioral interventions program of the international health department. Their research interests converge around health equity, social justice, and the sociological and cultural intersections between health, gender, sexuality, and race. Lex identifies as non-binary and uses they/them/theirs pronouns.
