Dr. Michael Longyear is the Director of Chiropractic Neurology at Brain Optimization Institute in Jacksonville, Florida. An international teacher and author in functional neurology, he is passionate about advancing brain-based rehabilitation and clinical excellence. Having overcome paralysis after being told he’d never walk again, Dr. Longyear believes no one should accept their “new normal.” He actively contributes to research projects that further functional neurology and the chiropractic profession worldwide.
