Alyssa Benedict, MPH

Alyssa Benedict, M.P.H, completed her graduate work at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Graduate Program in Public Health. As a Graduate Fellow, she conducted extensive research in female psychological development and is an advocate for the implementation of programs and services in all systems—from healthcare to criminal justice—that help girls and women to discover their potential and power as human beings. She is the founder and executive director of CORE Associates, LLC (Creating Opportunities through Research and Education). She is also an advocate for optimal early development and the creation of homes, schools and communities that support the developmental needs of girls and boys and continues to study the impact of early experiences on healthy psychological development.
